Profile

Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. • SUCN Christmas Party 07'
    Friday, December 14, 2007 @ 10:10 AM | comment (0)

Last night, SUCN's annual Christmas party was held at the Lamberto Macias Sports Center. At first, well I thought it's going to be big this year because it will take place in a bigger venue this year for the first time ever. As the night went on, the expectations and the thoughts that I had in mind really happened. It's as if everything came to a reality. Haha! The color red was all over the place, although some were in yellow, green and white.

I was ecstatic because everyone was all dolled up to flaunt his/her style in the crowd. It was like a red carpet showcase of designer clothes, outfits and stuff like that. I had fun watching everyone who passed by me and my friend's seat. Some people really took their time and exerted an extra effort to look like they were attending an awards ceremony - the Oscar's perhaps! Haha! It was as if the students are not at all affected and bombarded by all the "stress" of being a student nurse, so to speak.

the night's dominant color was red...
this is me and ching in red... hehe...

We were like 30 minutes late, nevertheless, it was fine because the program started late (again. ohhpps! hehe..) In every party, there are intermission and surprise numbers. And like any other party, there were also numbers that were given by the students and even the faculty themselves. Our clinical instructor, Mr. Ivan Pacatang, was the only faculty member who joined in a dance number that was composed of students, supposedly. Another first time this year.

a snapshot of our ci's dance number with a group of students from different year levels...

the part i love...the xmas hairdress competition...

The part I loved the most was the showcase of the headdresses of the different sections of all the year levels of the college. It was like a Victoria's Secret fashion show. All the representatives swept the runway or the podium like crazy. They were like real models on a real fashion extravaganza. It was uber amazing I swear! The headdresses were so mind blowing and intricately conceptualized.

To cut the story short, it was a fun night. Well, I went home earlier compared to all the others that night because I got tired and I wanted to sleep. Hehe. At the moment, I have to go... Bye :8)
