Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. • Hana Kimi Taiwan producer says there will be no Hana Kimi sequel
    Thursday, May 15, 2008 @ 4:54 PM | comment (0)

I finished watching Hana Kimi "HANAZAKARINO KIMITACHICHE" (花样少男少女) or Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu in Mandarin, over a week ago, and I should say, it was great. Compared to the Japanese version of the series, I prefer the Taiwanese version. Aside from the fact that it is the original version, it's also better in terms of acting, cinematography, storyline (well, except for the ending which was quite disappointing). In contrast to the Japanese version, the Taiwanese version is more entertaining. It was funnier because it had more comic scenes. The leads are also better. Wu Chun (Zuo Yi Quan or "Brian Zuo") and Ella Chen (Lu Rui Xi or "Joey Lu") make a really good pair. Their team-up is really amazing. They really look good together. The chemistry between the two leads is effortless. No offense to the Japanese version, but they were better actors than them. Jiro Wang also portrayed his character well. Most of the funny scenes in the series was his. After watching the series, I realized his versatility in both singing and acting. He registers well on screen and he looks really funny. All the other characters were good too. I personally like Mei Tian Liang's (the school doctor's) character, Tang Zhi Ping in real life, because he was very funny. I am not wondering why a lot of people love the series because I loved it too after watching it. I already finished watching it on DVD, but because it's summer and since my summer class already ended last week, I still watch it everyday on TV.
    hana kimi

The Philippines was no exception to the Hana Kimi frenzy. Since it aired, a lot of people has been talking about it. Both Wu Chun and Jiro Wang are currently enjoying a generous attention by the viewing public of the Philippines. Because of the series, Farenheit or Fei Lun Hai in Chinese (the 4-member Taiwanese boy group where Chun and Jiro belong), has gained interest from Filipinos who are also into the Asian Craze thing. It was said that they come quite close to F4, the band who was somehow responsible for the start of the Asian frenzy in the country 5 years ago or so. Farenheit and S.H.E. (the 3-member girl group where Ella Chen is a member) are considered the two mega bands of their home country at the moment. No wonder, Hana Kimi was a hit. Aside from the fact that it has a good storyline, it has a good cast line-up. It would be interesting indeed to see members from the two singing acts respectively, as co-stars of a teen series. The Taiwanese public's anticipation was another factor. It's Philippine airtime is also favorable for its genree, though I wish it would be transferred to primetime so a lot of people could see it. The dubbing is another plus factor. The local TV network who airs it did a wonderful job in picking really talented dubbers that would suit the personalities of the characters. I personally think that the Tagalog-dubbed version on TV is funnier and wackier than the it's original Mandarin version. There's a very big tendency of getting bored while watching the latter because it's quite tiring to read the subtitles, especially if it's flashed fast onscreen.

    Hana kimi

Almost 2 years ago, during Hana Kimi's press promotion in Taiwan, when Wu Chun was asked if there are sparks between them, Ella replied, "I really like Wu Chun!" She leaned over to rest her head on Wu Chun's left shoulder and added, "See, we've gone public." Both of them even spilled their most private secrets. Just like for example, their underwears. But with consent of course. Ella even made Wu Chun stand next to her so that we could compare their bums, and then, she reached out her left hand and slapped Wu Chun's right butt cheek. It was quite embarassing, but because they are very good friends, both just laughed it off. When asked about the real score between them, Ella said, "Relationships require time, but both of us are just too busy, so we leave it to the future. But if Wu Chun makes the first move, maybe," while Wu Chun said, "How would we know what's in the future?".

ganda talaga ng hana kimi the original

I can see the spark between the two since they've been very close since they filmed the series, but then apparently, news reports link both of them to other stars who have worked and/or currently working with them. An example is Ella and Danson Tang (Tang Yu Zhe) who played Liang Si Nan or Tristan Liang in Hana Kimi. (Yes. Their doorm supervisor.) Wu Chun on the other hand is linked to a number of girls like Ariel Lin (his co-star in his first drama Tokyo Juliet), Angela Zhang (his love interest in Romantic Princess) and Charlene Choi (his present co-star in the up and coming movie entitled Kung Fu Lovers). With Wu Chun's good looks, fame and everything, what do you expect? In the business, it's normal. But sometimes, the media exaggerates and scrutinizes rumors which are way to far from reality.

hana kimi talaga an kilig moment nila ni brian

Huang Wan Bo, the producer of Hana Kimi Taiwan reportedly said that there will no sequel for Hana Kimi. A lot of people seems to want another season, but the producer seems to be hesitant about it without reasonable and enough explaination to the fans. See it in Chinese at: http://big5.chinabroadcast.cn/gate/big5/gb.cri.cn/9964/2007/09/05/1845@1746871.htm or in English at http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Hua_Yang_Shao_Nian_Shao_Nu. Months ago, it was reportedly said that they will be making a sequel where Selina Ren, another S.H.E. member, was said to play as Ella's sister who will also fall in love with Wu Chun and create the conflict of the series, alongside with it's original cast from two years ago. Since many wanted it, they tried to consider doing a sequel. But now, it's impossible.
