Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. Today is December 25, 2008. Christmas Day. Rest day for most of the people in Dumaguete, but unfortunately for me, I had to go somewhere else. And that place certainly has to be the movie house. Why for certain? It's because Twilight finally premiered in the local movie houses of our very own little city. After the high anticipation for the movie. After weeks of waiting. Ta-dahhh! It's finally here. And it seemed like everyone was there. You can really feel the people going in and out of the cinemas, which doesn't happen frequently. Since there quite small, and compared to other big cities in the country whose cinemas are bigger and better perhaps, they can accommodate a quite number of moviegoers. But the little cinemas that we have here are also catering to the movie going public of the city, considering the fact that there are not that much. Movie goers of all ages flocked the local cinemas and I was like, 'look at the impact of the movie and of course the book...' to my friends who were there too. I actually saw it four days ago. That was Sunday, December 21. A couple of friends got a torrent from the net as early as last week of November. But we never got the time to watch it because we were all busy. Literally. Silly me, I kept on repeating it. Like 4 times. Haha! And the 5th was today.

A number of my friends have read the saga - all the way up to the 4th book. And they kept insisting that it is really good. Most of them, who are literally bookworms, influenced me one way or another so that made me want to start reading the books. Like everyone was talking about it. And I was like, okay...let me catch up. Laughs...You know how it feels when you can't relate to the conversation. It's strange... So I started looking it up in the cyberworld. And I was starting to get the feel of it. Most of those who've read the book are disappointed in a way with the movie. And that's understandable because a movie adaptation will most likely take a different direction from it's original book form. Some scenes will be deleted. Some added. So it's forgivable. But to those who've grown to love the book for quite a while, it could be different. It's easy to invest your emotions in books. And twilight is not an exemption. The Edward-Bella fanbase all over the world is so amazing. However, even though I have not touched any book literally, because I just got them online, I'd say I wasn't disappointed. It was good. And it wasn't bad either.

I can't wait for the sequel. I heard the production is working on it. It's all over the internet. Robert Pattinson got a new haircut, and it was quite surprising considering the fact that maybe they'll start filming soon. Maybe he'll wear a wig. Hmmmp! Im just kidding by the way. Everyone was saying he's the stuff all girls are made of... a vampire in a shiny silver volvo...some say he's perfect, but even if he's not - one thing is certain. He comes close. :8) Although it's nearly impossible to find a guy like him this day and age, I think he deserves all the praises coming from different people. And the role fits him pretty well. I don't think there would be any other actor who'd manage to pull it off better than he does. (No offense.) And one thing. I love the way he stares. Haha! New moon will kick off pretty soon. That should be a treat for all Twilight fans all over the world.
