Profile

Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. Orange Caramel, a sub-unit of After School
After School's 1st sub-unit "Orange Caramel" composed by members Raina, Nana and Lizzy was formed not too long ago. Pledis Entertainment formed the group in order to show After School's versatility to show themselves in different music genrees. Orange Caramel is known for presenting themselves on stage in cute outfits while showing their aeygo (cuteness) at the same time. They have received much love from fans, especially from Korean grade school students after releasing their 1st mini-album with the title song "Magic Girl". Popular boy groups like Super Junior and 2PM have parodied and made their own versions of Orange Caramel by cross-dressing in pictures and in concerts, respectively. Recently, the three ladies attended the 2010 Singapore Sundown Festival and performed the Chinese version of "The Day You Went Away", an original song from popular Norwegian duo M2M. The Chinese version was originally covered by Taiwanese superstar Jolin Tsai. After hearing the version of Orange Caramel, no offense to Jolin who is good too, but I must say theirs was better. It was almost just like listening to M2M singing in Chinese. The pronunciation was clear, and you can understand every Chinese word that they are saying, even though it is not their primary langauage. This genree really suits Orange Caramel so I am looking forward for their future releases.
