Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. (^___^)
Most of the posts in this blog revolve around Asian dramas, movies and pop culture, so please proceed at your own risk. Don't say I didn't warn you. Haha! Have a wonderful and blessed day! :)

At last! The first trailer to a TW drama that I have been anticipating to premiere this year has finally been revealed. And I must thank the Drama Gods wholeheartedly for this one, for giving us a healthy and even more gorgeous Ariel Lin back.
Those of you who may be following the Chinese entertainment industry should know that Ariel underwent an operation to get rid of her brain tumor a few months ago. Many became really worried for the talented actress after it was revealed that she was suffering from various symptoms here and there such as fainting spells from time to time because of that growing tumor. That is why, I am very happy that she's finally back in another drama, and if there is one thing that I am sure of right now, it's that I will be surely watching it when it finally airs. This will be Ariel's final project for I don't know how long, since she plans to take a break from the entertainment industry after this because of health reasons. She has been working nonstop ever since, starring in various hit dramas here and there, so it's definitely something that she deserves to have. And of course, her health is the most important thing at the moment.
In this drama roughly titled I Might Not Love You, she will be starring opposite Bolin Chen, and they will be playing as two young professionals in there twenties who are at the same time, the best of friends. She will play the role of Chen You Qing, a department store manager, while he will be playing the role of Lee Da Ren, an airport manager, who have been best friends for the last 15 years. The premise of the story is actually very simple: both promised each other when they were younger that they will never ever be together.
It can be remembered that Ariel was supposed to star in Extravagant Challenge with Super Junior's Siwon and Donghae (two of my biases in Kpoplandia), but she had to turn down the role during the final stages of the pre-production phase after signing-up for this drama. She had to let go of the former eventually, because it took to long to materialize, and she finally moved on to this one. As her fan, as a fan of both Siwon and Donghae and as an Asian drama fan in general, I am actually happy with her decision. I am very happy that she passed the crown to Ivy Chen, who I'm sure will be just as amazing as her, if she stayed with the production as the female lead. (If you are interested to watch the trailer to Extravagant Challenge, click here.)
It was such a good move to begin with, and just by this first trailer alone, I can already say that her 160 degree transformation from the cutesy and lovable Ariel that we knew and loved in It Started With A Kiss and They Kissed Again to the gorgeous and mature Ariel that will be showcased in this drama, is a WIN right off the bat. I can already sense that this series will be giving dramalandia and its campers, an Ariel Lin that we have never seen before! As early as now, it seems to me that I Might Not Love You has the right amount of angst and romance that drama fans have been deprived of for the longest time. How long has it been since 9 Ends, 2 Outs ended? (A K drama of the same storyline! ^ ^) It has indeed been too long for us, and that is the reason why I am looking forward for this one. I'm pretty sure that we have all seen a lot of stories of this kind in the previous years, but I have this gut feeling within me that this will be different from all the others. I'm not sure how this platonic relationship between Ariel and Bolin will play out, but it seems pretty interesting.
On a side note, I am starting to love that OST song on the background. Haha! So, who else is liking this new Ariel aside from me? Ah! I cannot wait. Meanwhile, check out the wonderful first trailer from the drama and see it for yourself (in case you'd like to check it out) below!
Not a lot of people know (or would even understand), but I am also a victim of drama obsession. I've been camping in dramalandia since I was 13 years old, and that's where you will most likely find me when I have nothing to do.
One of the symptoms of this disease is daydreaming about dramas everywhere whether you are at work, walking down the stairs, sleeping, even as you are walking...creepy isn't it? Hahaha!
I am also a big Asian music fan and I think Asian music rocks! I go back and forth from Cpop to Kpop and Jpop, so I may be different (and strange) compared to other people that you can find around. I am an elder sister , a dreamer , a believer , a gamer , wanderer , blogger , an optimist , an ultimate foodie and a, hands down, fangirl . I love reading books , writing , music , photography and traveling.
I am a nurse by profession who is also a copy editor and a freelance writer . I enjoy learning how to play musical instruments and learning various languages . I am crazy, loud, spontaneous, free-spirited and most of the time, a klutz.
Eren Asentista a.k.a. Eray, 23, female, from Dumaguete City, Philippines. My personality...it's complicated. :D Believe me, you wouldn't want to know who I am. Hahaha! XD
I am currently watching...
In the coming days, I plan to watch...
In Asian Entertainment, I fancy...
(This is still lacking, but this is more or less it. LOL! I will most likely be updating this in the future to accommodate my growing list of biases but check em out!)
The things that I want to do before I die are the following:
An Asian cruise. Templestay in Korea. An African safari adventure. Backpacking to Europe. Traveling through the European railways.
