Yui Aragaki and Nishikido Ryo's New Drama "Zenkai Girl" Gets Getsu 9's Primetime Slot

Though I love Asian dramas generally, I must admit that I didn't get to see that much Jdoramas lately. Well, I have started watching a few Jdramas earlier this year, but because of some reason, I suddenly lost interest in keeping up with them. I am not sure what happened along the way though, but there was a time when I had to cut down on the time I spent watching dramas with my laptop because it drained all my energy, and I totally isolated myself for days inside my room, except when I ate. That was when I realized that I haven't been out of our house in days, and I didn't even know what was happening around me. I became oblivious all for the love of dramas! Haha! So at some point, I knew I needed to stop.

But I knew that it won't be long until a new highly-anticipated Jdorama drops, and true enough, the drama GODS have started to tease me again with two new interesting Jdormas as early as now. The first one is a remake of the Hong sisters' You're Beautiful, which became a viral and highly-addictive drama amongst many fans in 2009. The other one stars the beautiful Yui Aragaki, who is one of my favorite J actresses of all time. She's starring in this upcoming drama entitled Zenkai Girl, as Ayukawa Wakaba where she will play the role of a new lawyer who is  just starting her career. Playing opposite the beautiful Gakky as the male lead is none other than the handsome Nishikido Ryo as Yamada Sota from Japanese boy groups, NEWS and Kanjani Eight. Well, he's one of the better actors who belong to Johnny's Entertainment, and I know he will be doing a job with Gakky in playing as the drama leads. He will play as an ordinary person who will meet Gakky in the Kindergarten where his son and the daughter of her boss goes to school.

Gakky is no doubt, one of Japan's most popular and acclaimed actresses today because of sweet nature and lovable charms. She's also very lovely to begin with, and I have been a fan of her ever since I watched her breakthrough movie, Koizura, with the ever handsome, Haruma Miura, who is also one of my favorite J actors around. Despite being famous and all, Gakky remains grounded and everything, so I hope this drama does well. Nishikido, on the other hand, has proven himself as an amazing actor after starring in the hit tearjerker series One Liter of Tears, which was I believe was broadcasted here in the Philippines a couple of years ago. That was just an amazingly beautiful drama! For getting Getsu 9's primetime time slot, this drama should be something else, so I am keeping my expectations high for this one. Meanwhile, check out the first trailer below!
