Profile

Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. • Is there still hope for the Philippines?
    Monday, October 1, 2007 @ 8:21 PM | comment (0)

This suddenly came to my mind earlier today, and I started asking myself, when will there ever be "hope" for "Mother Philippines"? Haha! Sounds so 10 years ago, right? But when I grabbed the remote control and finally took over the TV today (from my papa and my brother), I saw (well, actually, over and over again!) how everything is getting worse here in our country. I'm sorry for ranting today, but I just can't help it, and I really feel that if nothings gonna happen soon...what will be our future then?

I'm sure all of us are aware how prices of commodities are these days. My mom would always remind me about how much 1 kilo of chicken/pork/beef has raised from its original price the day or a week before everytime she goes to the grocery store or to the market. And my pappy, would always complain about how expensive gasoline is everyday..(but in a godo way though)..so I really know how it feels to live in the Philippines - you bet!

Everything is just too expensive! That's the word. Haha! They say everyhtings going up, but the salary of the employees all over the country is not in any way..or will never..increase forever and ever amen! So many compliants left and right..I'm sure all of us are so tired of all these and more.
The question is.."Is there a hope for a better Philippines?" I'm leaving it to you.. I'll just keep my answer within myself.. It breaks my heart..but what can we do? U
