It was just like two months ago since Taeyang, otherwise known as Dong Young Bae of popular Korean group Big Bang, released his first ever solo album "Solar". And just last week, he released the international version of the album due to the high album sales, good music chart ratings, and the positive feedback coming from listeners all over the world. It was reported earlier that the charismatic Big Bang member topped iTunes in terms of album downloads, alongside many other foreign singers. Because of this overwhelming feedback, YG Entertainment who announced earlier that 2ne1 (dubbed as the female Big Bang) teamed up with Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am for their upcoming 2nd album this September, will release it as an international album as well, following the footstep of their company sunbae (senior) Taeyang.
The album contains the same songs in the first version of the album; however, the international version includes the new single "I'll Be There" which has an English and a Korean version. There's also a collaboration with Bigtone entitled "Connection". And finally, my favorite track in this album is the bonus English version of his past hit, "Wedding Dress". Listening to him singing in English at first is kind of weird because I haven't really gotten used to it. However, I've been replaying the song for a few days now, and I must say that boy, he doesn't have an accent. Good for someone who doesn't really speak English as a primary language. He must have learned a lot from fellow labelmate Se7en who sings English songs without the accent. Taeyang is a really talented singer. He is also a skilled dancer. And my favorite member in Big Bang. I hope this album will be really successful, and I hope to see Big Bang again soon in a new album. I wish the same thing for DBSK too. T_T
Not a lot of people know (or would even understand), but I am also a victim of drama obsession. I've been camping in dramalandia since I was 13 years old, and that's where you will most likely find me when I have nothing to do.
One of the symptoms of this disease is daydreaming about dramas everywhere whether you are at work, walking down the stairs, sleeping, even as you are walking...creepy isn't it? Hahaha!
I am also a big Asian music fan and I think Asian music rocks! I go back and forth from Cpop to Kpop and Jpop, so I may be different (and strange) compared to other people that you can find around. I am an elder sister , a dreamer , a believer , a gamer , wanderer , blogger , an optimist , an ultimate foodie and a, hands down, fangirl . I love reading books , writing , music , photography and traveling.
I am a nurse by profession who is also a copy editor and a freelance writer . I enjoy learning how to play musical instruments and learning various languages . I am crazy, loud, spontaneous, free-spirited and most of the time, a klutz.
