Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. • Van Ness Wu and Ady An Reunites in "Aiya" Music Video
    Saturday, July 30, 2011 @ 3:23 PM | comment (0)

Reunions of dramalandia's best OTPs only happen once in a blue moon. Although it is something rare, it is not completely impossible, so seeing Van Ness Wu and Ady An together on screen again after quite some time made me squeal because of joy! The two reunited to film as the MV characters of Van Ness' music video for Aiya, the follow-up single to his latest album's (C'est La V) title track, Is This All? Those of you who have been keeping up with the currently airing TW dramas should know that the song is the main theme song of the ongoing drama, Material Queen, starring actress-model and stunner Lynn Xiong and Van Ness Wu himself. Material Queen is also directed by the talented PD Chen Hui Ling who also helmed Autumn's Concerto (otherwise titled Next Stop, Happiness) in 2009, the drama that skyrocketed both Ady and Van Ness' popularity as certified TW drama stars.

If you are an Asian drama fan and if you have watched Autumn's Concerto, I'm sure that you an relate to everything that I am talking about. AC is not just one of my favorite TW dramas, but one of my favorite Asian dramas, in general, that was ever made. Van Ness and Ady's pairing, though it was something I was unsure of buying before I watched the series for the first time, turned out to be one of the best and most heartwarming OTPs that dramalandia has ever produced in history, and I just LOVE the both of them! I actually ship these two, so I was hoping for them to date after Van Ness ended his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, but ever since they got back together recently, all of my hopes got thrown out of the window. LOL! But I'm okay with Van and Ady remaining good friends even up until now. And I am even more happy that she has helped him recently by starring in his follow-up single's MV, Aiya.

This music video is not just Van and Ady's reunion, but Van, Ady and PD Chen's reunion after filming AC in 2009. The triumvirate did it again this time...making drama fans scream with delight for Ren Guang Xi and Liang Mu Chen's reunion. :) After watching the MV, I was back to being the crazy and possessed drama freak all over again after rewatching AC (yes, for the nth time! ^  ^) to relive one of the most beautiful love stories that was ever told. Check out the picture below and put your hands up if you agree that the only person missing in the MV is Xiao Xiao Bin (the cute Binnie who played as their son in the MV) and it would be like watching AC again. Haha! XD

*He probably misses his Daddy Guang Xi and Mommy Mu Chen right now. However, I've seen in Baidu threads that he is happy spending time shooting with new dad Vic Zhou for a new movie that will be released later this year. Oh what a lucky boy! (He's been son *nephew to Jerry* to all F4 (now JVKV) members except Ken Zhu in the short span of his career.)

The video is screaming LOVE LOVE LOVE! Get ready to relive Guang Xi and Mu Chen's love story all over again and check it out below! :D
