Super Junior's Fifth Album Image Teasers Out, Inkigayo Comeback Teaser for Next Week Revealed
  Are you ready for THE RETURN OF THE SUPERIOR? Mega Kpop boy group Super Junior will be coming back next week for their highly anticipated fifth album, Mr. Simple, with a title track of the same name. The individual teasers of all the members have been unveiled including a group photo, which seems to be one of their upcoming album's jacket photos. As a fan, I am both excited and nervous for this comeback (This better be better than 4 jib! Haha!) because of the public's divided opinion after all the teasing that SM Entertainment has done these past few days. The image teasers of the members were revealed one after the other every day since the 20th through Super Junior's official site and facebook page. And it has been revealed that apart from the theme "The Return of the Superior," their fifth album's concept is said to be "Ubersexual," which according to SM is "being stylish and masculine, yet sexy and suave." It is actually a big change from their previous album concepts for the last 6 years, and it's a relief that they stayed away from the "dark" concept once and for all! Haha! In the past, I have heard a lot of people complaining about why their stylists make them wear something black or white all the time (because it was becoming plain and boring to look at), so I am glad that something else is being presented to the general public's eyes. There are more colors this time and it looks promising as early as now because it is something that has not been done before by any other group, so I am up for it! I don't want to be bias, but I think I am going to give this new album's concept a thumbs up for being distinct and intriguing at the same time. Excuse my love for SUJU (coughs...), but I think nobody will be able to pull this off better than the boys themselves; so check out the teaser photos below! I haven't really posted in a while. Haha! I've been really busy lately and I had so many things to do on top of blogging, that I couldn't really find time to log-in into my blogger account and gather my thoughts together for a new post. Hahaha! I have just started to execute my long term plans recently, and that includes finding a job I think would be able to enrich myself to the fullest (with a good pay of course), before taking up my masters degree in nursing next year. A few months from now, I will be turning 23, so instead of just going all over the place, and asking moolah from my parents, I've figured out that the best time to to jumpstart my career would be right now. And so, I am trying to be the super girl that I always strive and aspire to become, while enjoying the ride, and learning along the way. This one is really random, I know. But this afternoon, I spotted a "Donghae Bag", and I was like, "Okay...I need to have this bag like...now!" It's okay, you can call me impulsive. Hahaha! But my eyes really went O__O as soon as I saw the "Donghae" print at the side, which convinced me to get one of my own. Now if you are wondering who Donghae is, he is one of the 13 (technically 15 if you would count the two members of sub-group Super Junior M) member of the popular Korean super group Super Junior, who I have been a fan for more than five years now. Donghae, Siwon and Sungmin are my biases from the group, even though I find all of them really amazing people. If you are a Kpop fan, I'm sure you would know what the heck I am talking about. But if you aren't, then you can google them. Haha! There will surely be like a million search results once you type "Super Junior" in the search bar, even if you're still typing the letter "u". LOL! Now, if you are wondering, I haven't acquired the bag yet. But I have already placed my order through my good friend, who helped me to find the whereabouts of this adorable piece.  I was browsing for pictures in my external hard drive, and I saw him. Yes, Super Junior's Choi Siwon! ^ ^ One of my biases in Super Junior, (alongside Donghae and Sungmin...though I love em' all!) who is one of my favorite Kpop groups ever. I have saved random pictures of him lately, where he looks incredibly handsome, as always. And for the first time in a long time, I was like a blank paper staring at him for a couple of minutes. I couldn't even remember how long I stared at him, honestly. Perhaps, if someone saw me earlier, he would think I am foolish or something of that sort. Haha! XD God! How could there be such a person in this world? I think I only have that left to say. Siwon is indeed a living work of art!...who manages to turn even a random picture of his everyday life into a photoshoot. I don't remember when I actually started liking him, to be really honest about it. Ever since before, Donghae was my bias. Since Suju's rookie days, my eyes were all for Donghae because I was attracted to his innocent and child-like qualities ever since. And then, I started to like him. It was during the Marry U promotions if I remember it right. And it intensified after Sorry, Sorry. And then, there came Oh! My Lady. Just when I thought I wouldn't love him more, I started to take second glances at him during the No Other promotions, and that's how I realized the power of being Shisus, Shibrows and Horse. LOL! XD A devout Christian, a good son and brother, an admirable Super Junior member, UN ambassador, role model, esteemed actor, perfect gentleman, ideal boyfriend (...and husband! LOL! ^ ^), compassionate member of society, and soldier of light. He is the epitome of Perfection! But despite being perfect in all aspects in life, he seems to be so humble, and he has his feet grounded at all times. That's what I like best about him. Currently, he is in the second spot of my bias list, and I am also wondering myself on who will emerge victorious between him and Donghae in the end. Haha! XD (Will definitely watch Extravagant Challenge! Actually, I can't wait! ^ ^) Oh Siwon! You sure are amazing! I don't know if it's your shibrows or your abs (must be both, right?), but more than anything, I think it's your one of a kind personality. Because of you, my boyfriend standard has become impossible to reach. (Forever Alone! *Cries* Haha!) Your princely exterior is the total opposite to your childlike and fun-loving inner self. You laugh like a kid, and you act like klutz when you are with the rest of your fellow members. And yet, you always amaze me each time.  My favorite Super Junior sub-group is back! Yes, they are. Finally, after more than one year since Hangeng left the group in 2009, the boys of Super Junior M have released another mini album (their second) to follow-up their first, which was a very big hit not just in China, but all over Asia. For this album by the way, I'm sure you have heard that they are back as 8 members, with two new additions making the SJ-M family bigger than before. Since Hangeng's departure, the member line-up for the sub-group was left with only six of its original 7 members namely Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Zhou Mi and Henry. This time, Eunhyuk and Sungmin have joined them, making it a total of 8 people altogether now. Are you excited? Hehe. I'm sure Kpop fans know this well. So for this post, I will be presenting the 6 tracks of their mini album titled Perfection. This was released around last week in Taiwan and China, and on March 3rd in Korea. This effort has a regular edition, a special edition with photocards and other things (I'm not really sure of the exact content of this one. LOL!) and a special Korean edition where their title track of the same name has a version not just in Chinese, but also in Korean. So are you ready to listen to the songs? I know you are, and I too have been hooked in this album that I have been putting it on replay ever since last week. (Both consciously and unconsciously I guess. ^ ^) Before the songs; however, check out there concept photos for this mini album below! Actually, AVEX Taiwan (their album distributor in the Chinese region) called this new concept "nobility-style" since you can see the boys with prince-like outfits and eccentric head gears. At first, I honestly thought that it was weird and pretty odd, but after seeing the HD music video of their title track Perfection, I was like "OMG! Breathless... *hearts all over* I just died." They were able to pull it off really well. Last 2009, they had the masculine concept for Super Girl while they were decked in suits, just like their Sorry, Sorry video if you remember. That video really turned out well, and the song was pretty good and catchy too. It sold a lot all over Asia, and captured hearts of many fangirls (and fanboys too! ^ ^). But this time around, they have become more fierce and the song style and tune have become more aggressive and more tough, which reflects their growing musicality and style over the years. Does the album suit your Asian pop taste? Well, if you are going to ask me, it suited mine. To the point where I even featured a post with it in my blog. Hehe. This was a definitely good album. Amazing songs! It was "Daebak!" (as Korean's call it!) The title track did not appeal to me that much at first, but after I saw the MV, I started to like it. I think it goes the same for the rest of the Suju songs. Ever since before, since they promote by releasing tracks in online music charts first, first followed by video teasers and then finally a music video, before the MV, I've always had mixed feelings. Sorry, Sorry is one of my favorite Suju songs of all time, but I didn't like on spot, I started to like it a few days after. It was the kind of like which grew after a few replays, and afterwards, I didn't know it was the #1 most played song in my playlist already. I have grown to really love that song over time (until now! ^ ^). Aside from the title track, the song which got me really hooked from this album was Love Is Sweet. It was written by Jay Chou, and he's like, well, I've been his fan for as long as I could remember. I think I was 14 or 15 then when I started listening to him. he has been pretty busy with crossing over to Hollywood lately with the movie The Green Hornet. So he's been on a hiatus from the music world lately since his latest album in 2010. After hearing the song he penned for SJ-M, I was like, "Now Now...I know why no one could replace him. His just so talented and all. Definitely irreplaceable! A music prodigy I must say." Well, his not called Taiwan's pop king for nothing. Hearing his songs once again after a long time, it was like being back to the good old days of my youth. I remember having all his songs in my computer when I was in high school. I did organize them into folders when our old PC was still alive. Good times! Hehe. Good times! Another favorite would be Destiny. It reminds me of SJ-M's previous ballad song Blue Tomorrow, which was the follow-up track to Super Girl for their first mini album in 2009, but this time it's sweeter and the melody is better, compared to the latter which was about heartbreak and saying goodbye to someone you don't want to part ways with. My All Is In You was also good. It's better than the Korean version, in my opinion. I don't know for the others, but it's better sounding in Chinese. Haha! This song was actually from Super Junior's fourth full length album Bonamana, and was later remaked in Chinese for sub-group Super Junior M's second mini album. True Love on the other hand was produced and arranged by Chance and Peter from the Korean hiphop trio One Way. They are known as Suju's good friends, so they have enlisted their support for them in this album. Lastly, Off My Mind which was Henry's composition was good. I missed hearing Henry's voice so I like it. It's upbeat and it's dancable, so many fans will hopefully like it too. So that's it! My Super Junior M Perfection mini album review is done! It's not so technical the way music critics would usually review an album, but I really did my best to share my thoughts and feelings for this one. It's more of like a fan review for my part, since I'm their fan. Though it's sounds a bit bias, it can't really be helped. What is it not to love with these guys? I'm sure legions of fans would agree with me. And with all honesty, even if I did not happen to be their fan, I will still like this album. Why? Because the songs are good and they did a pretty good job. Now these boys should give each other a pat in the back for a job well done! It was an amazing album. And now, my hands are tired.
