Profile

Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. • Let's Turn Our Lights Off for EARTH HOUR
    Saturday, March 28, 2009 @ 8:21 PM | comment (0)

It's been so long since my last post. With schoolwork to worry and everything in between, plus my problematic internet connection, I must say I lost sight of the cyberworld for a few weeks. Or should I say, a month and a couple of weeks maybe. Summer classes are about to take off next week. Yes, again. (Laughs...) It's just so hard to find a break these days, when everything I've done lately is school-related. Hitting the beach or going somewhere else would probably happen in between weekdays - perhaps during weekends. In between my summer classess before June arrives this summer.

Before looking forward for summer, there's this thing I look forward more than anything today. EARTH HOUR. They say one of the biggest problems of the world today is GLOBAL WARMING. Sooner or later, it will affect us. Perhaps not today. But tomorrow who knows. I'm not an environmentalist myself, but I'd say I care enough for mother earth. This is just a little step for the cause of global warming, but this can make a difference if our voices can be heard. As inhabitants of planet Earth, let us at least try to turn off our lights for at least an hour and see how this little step can change the world in the upcoming days.

We can make a difference. Turn off your lights for EARTH HOUR. Be involved.

THIS SATURDAY 28 MARCH AT 8.30PM YOU CAN VOTE EARTH BY SWITCHING OFF YOUR LIGHTS FOR ONE HOUR - EARTH HOUR.

    MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT

Turn off your lights for Earth Hour, record your vote and share it with the world! Here's how:

    1. TAKE A PHOTO on the night, upload it to flickr and add it to Earth Hour's flickr group and tag it with your city and country.
    2. MAKE A VIDEO of your event, upload it to YouTube and add it to our YouTube group.during the event and tag it with earthhour or voteearth, and your location.
    3. WRITE A LIVE BLOG POST during the event and tag it with earthhour or voteearth, and your location.
    4. Update your twitter on the night and write #earthhour#voteearth and your #location in your update to tag it.

    FOR MORE INFORMATION, visit www.earthhour.org

To the world, you may just be one person, a single entity, or element in an enormous universal set. But you can do something to make a difference. Let's help each other to make this world "OUR MOTHER EARTH" a better place to live in for the future of humankind. If you envision the future inhabitants of planet Earth to live in perfect conditions, start finding the desire to change within yourself. Who knows? You might inspire others to change as well.

    Let's help save MOTHER EARTH.
    She's all we've got.
