Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. (^___^)
Most of the posts in this blog revolve around Asian dramas, movies and pop culture, so please proceed at your own risk. Don't say I didn't warn you. Haha! Have a wonderful and blessed day! :)

Korea's Tourism Department recently collaborated with top actors and stars in the entertainment industry in order to feature Korea's beautiful sceneries and tourist attractions in order to attract travelers from all over the world to come to the country through an omnibus drama. In the past, there were just promotional music videos and advertisements featuring top singers and actors like Rain, Lee Byung Hun, Super Junior, DBSK/TVXQ/THSK, Girl's Generation, 2PM and Wonder Girls. But this time, they have conceptualized a greater and an even better project as it will be a mini series featuring some of the biggest names in the industry who are not just popular in Korea, but also making waves in the Asian continent, and in different countries all over the world. Included in this project are Park Si Hoo (Which Star Are You From?), Kim Bum (Boys Over Flowers,East of Eden,The Woman Who Can't Marry), Jung Yunho (former leader of now defunct boy group DBSK/TVXQ/THSK), Han Chae Young (Only You,Sassy Girl Chunyang), Lee Da Hae (My Girl,Oh! My Lady,Chuno) and popular idol boy group Big Bang. Episode 1 has just been released, and the aforementioned series has 5 more episodes left to reveal. As of now, there has been no word as to when the next episodes will be out; however, one can go to http://haru2010.com/eng/index.aspx which is the official site of the mini series in order to get updated on the latest news of the mini series as well as other related information.

If you want a piece of the story, it basically revolves around Lee Da Hae, a movie and drama scrrenwriter who is in a relationship with Jung Yunho (who plays as an actor filming for a movie that Lee Da Hae has written). One day she travels by train along the wonderful countryside sceneries to get inspiration in the new project that she is trying to write. Then, he meets Kim Bum, who is a photographer in the journey, and they easily got along. Han Chae Young and Park Si Hoo on the other hand are playing as a fictional couple in the story that Lee Da Hae is trying to write. Both Han Chae Young and Park Si Hoo are agents in disguise as a fashion designer and a restaurant owner respectively, who coincidentally goes on the same mission one day. The scenes that you will see are reminiscent of the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Mr. & Mrs.Smith as well as Kim Ha Neul and Kang Ji Hwan's My Girlfriend Is An Agent. The first episode in a nutshell introduced the connection of the characters, and I am looking forward for the next 5 episodes in the coming days and weeks to see how the story progresses and eventually ends.
Meanwhile, the mini series doesn't just involve these top actors and stars alone. They have elicited the participation of other top Korean Wave (Hallyu) stars in Asia and the rest of the world like Super Junior (members Kim Ryeowook, Cho Kyuhyun, Lee Donghae, Lee Sungmin and Lee Eunhyuk), Tiffany Hwang(Girls' Generation) and ShiNee for its Original Soundtrack (OST). After watching the first episode, I was pretty amazed with the soundtrack because the 3 wonderful songs in it. I liked ShiNee's song that was played in the middle part because it went well with Big Bang's happy scenes. Tiffany's song entitled "Ring" was also a good song to accompany that part where Yunho is buying a couple ring for him and Lee Da Hae while the latter was having cute moments with Kim Bum in the countryside. Finally, my favorite amongst the 3 was Super Junior's "Angel" that was played towards the first episodes end. It showcases a familiar yet different sound because it reminds me so much of "No Other" because of the intro but as the song progresses, it actually becomes a different sound. They really sound good, and I like the song. I hope they will do more OST contributions as a group rather than as individuals in the near future.
This is by the way a fanmade video with english lyrics and romanizations on it:

Not a lot of people know (or would even understand), but I am also a victim of drama obsession. I've been camping in dramalandia since I was 13 years old, and that's where you will most likely find me when I have nothing to do.
One of the symptoms of this disease is daydreaming about dramas everywhere whether you are at work, walking down the stairs, sleeping, even as you are walking...creepy isn't it? Hahaha!
I am also a big Asian music fan and I think Asian music rocks! I go back and forth from Cpop to Kpop and Jpop, so I may be different (and strange) compared to other people that you can find around. I am an elder sister , a dreamer , a believer , a gamer , wanderer , blogger , an optimist , an ultimate foodie and a, hands down, fangirl . I love reading books , writing , music , photography and traveling.
I am a nurse by profession who is also a copy editor and a freelance writer . I enjoy learning how to play musical instruments and learning various languages . I am crazy, loud, spontaneous, free-spirited and most of the time, a klutz.
Eren Asentista a.k.a. Eray, 23, female, from Dumaguete City, Philippines. My personality...it's complicated. :D Believe me, you wouldn't want to know who I am. Hahaha! XD
I am currently watching...
In the coming days, I plan to watch...
In Asian Entertainment, I fancy...
(This is still lacking, but this is more or less it. LOL! I will most likely be updating this in the future to accommodate my growing list of biases but check em out!)
The things that I want to do before I die are the following:
An Asian cruise. Templestay in Korea. An African safari adventure. Backpacking to Europe. Traveling through the European railways.
