You read the title right! A new movie has caught my attention. Actually, it hasn't premiered yet in Korean cinemas, but it looks as promising as early as now to me. Why? Because four amazing and beautiful actresses will be teaming up for this upcoming movie. That is Yoon Eun Hye (Goong/Princess Hours, Coffee Prince, My Fair Lady), Park Han Byul (Oh! My Lady), Yoo In Na (High Kick Through The Roof, Secret Garden) and Cha Ye Ryun (Dr. Champ, Style).
The combination of the four aforesaid actresses sounds stellar as it is, making me look forward to watch the movie even more. The all-star line up can be compared to the famous movie Sex and the City, which starred four lead actresses as well. Only that this movie revolves around the story of four young women in their mid-20's, while finding love and happiness through a black mini dress.
This will surely be a movie which girls can relate to, since a black mini dress is a staple item in most of our closets. I'm actually pretty excited to see the movie for myself because I heard that famous brand likes KUHO, Jean-Luc Amsler, Tory Burch, Levi’s, and many others will be featured, as fashion will be key point in the plot of the movie. In addition to that, most of the scenes were filmed in high end areas like Kangnam, Chungdam-dong and Apgujung-dong. And the production team also rented the entire Tory Burch store in Kangnam just to film. Luxurious, right?
My Black Mini Dress is a popular Korean novel adaptation directed by Heo In Mu (Bridal Lessons, Herb) which is set to premiere on March 24th, and currently, the cast of the movie are busy promoting it in various Korean variety shows. And as early as now, I would like to say that I will be writing a review for this movie as soon as I finish watching it over the internet. ***Fingers crossed for the English subtitles to be already available as soon as possible ^ ^***
