Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. (^___^)
Most of the posts in this blog revolve around Asian dramas, movies and pop culture, so please proceed at your own risk. Don't say I didn't warn you. Haha! Have a wonderful and blessed day! :)

SNSD or more popularly known as Girls' Generation internationally is back with another album titled "Hoot". They haven't actually disappeared in the music scene, it's just that a few months ago, the girls have been very busy breaking through the Japanese market with their previous hit songs "Gee" and "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" respectively. When SM Entertainment announced that they will be debuting in Japan around the middle of this year, everyone thought that the girls would be staying there for a while to promote and to establish their name as a group. But then, without the knowledge of their fans, they have been secretly going back and forth from Japan to Korea in order to prepare for their 3rd mini album which was officially released yesterday for the fans to hear. This mini album has already received 150,000 preorders from fans and music listeners alike. So far, their Japan debut has been pretty amazing, with fellow Korean girl groups like 4 MinuteandKara who are sharing the same limelight and popularity with them in various Japanese music charts like Billboard and Oricon. And with the scheduled release of their title track's music video "Hoot" today, it seems that these girls will be racking up more money for their comeback this time around.
I have been listening to the album since yesterday, and one song caught my attention. It's a ballad called "Mistake" and what stood out to me is that it was written by Girls' Generation (SNSD) member Kwon Yuri. She's actually one of my favorite members in the group, and my younger brother likes her very much. She's very pretty and she's a good dancer too but I didn't expect that she had a potential in song writing. The song is good and it's my favorite song in the album. Not that I don't like the title track or the other songs included in it, but this one is just different from the usual cutesy Girls' Generation songs. The group is known for their upbeat, cheerful and cutesy songs with dance moves which are easy to copy but after this one, they should think of releasing more songs like ballads in the future. They have so much talent and potential, and their are many members who sing well in the group so I hope that they wouldn't put this to waste. Girls' Generation is definitely making a name for themselves all over Asia these days so I hope that they will continue to spread their love for music by providing fans and music listeners alike with good and wonderful songs.
If you want to know more about this group, let's go back on memory lane and revisit the group's previous hit songs since their 2007 debut. Most of the songs have english subtitles except for the 3D version of "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)". The official music video to "Hoot" however is rumored to be out today; however, I do have the full audio with english subtitles.

Not a lot of people know (or would even understand), but I am also a victim of drama obsession. I've been camping in dramalandia since I was 13 years old, and that's where you will most likely find me when I have nothing to do.
One of the symptoms of this disease is daydreaming about dramas everywhere whether you are at work, walking down the stairs, sleeping, even as you are walking...creepy isn't it? Hahaha!
I am also a big Asian music fan and I think Asian music rocks! I go back and forth from Cpop to Kpop and Jpop, so I may be different (and strange) compared to other people that you can find around. I am an elder sister , a dreamer , a believer , a gamer , wanderer , blogger , an optimist , an ultimate foodie and a, hands down, fangirl . I love reading books , writing , music , photography and traveling.
I am a nurse by profession who is also a copy editor and a freelance writer . I enjoy learning how to play musical instruments and learning various languages . I am crazy, loud, spontaneous, free-spirited and most of the time, a klutz.
Eren Asentista a.k.a. Eray, 23, female, from Dumaguete City, Philippines. My personality...it's complicated. :D Believe me, you wouldn't want to know who I am. Hahaha! XD
I am currently watching...
In the coming days, I plan to watch...
In Asian Entertainment, I fancy...
(This is still lacking, but this is more or less it. LOL! I will most likely be updating this in the future to accommodate my growing list of biases but check em out!)
The things that I want to do before I die are the following:
An Asian cruise. Templestay in Korea. An African safari adventure. Backpacking to Europe. Traveling through the European railways.
