Who am I? I am a screwed-up blogger and an active blog reader since 2007. A soulful dreamer who believes that passion is life and a person who is looking for meaning, just like any other human being in this world. A super girl wannabe who is currently taking chances and chasing pavements, while keeping up with time and living life in general. This is me, and this blog is the outlet of my random thoughts. Netizens all over the world were surprised upon learning that American Idol Season 8 Runner-Up Adam Lambert, who was recently featured in Rolling Stone (RS) Magazine, openly admitted that he was really gay. The truth of the matter is, he's been living in LA for eight long years as "gay", even before his stint in American Idol. Adam says, "I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay," Adam correctly states, adding: "I'm proud of my sexuality. I embrace it." He was one of my favorites during the first half of the season because of his distinct musicality, alongside Danny Gokey and Anoop Desai. Thoughts like this came into my mind as well during the course of the season, but I though it was just a probability. Needless to say, he's coming out now. Both as an artist ready to show the world that he's much more than the contestant that he was in the idol stage, but also as an individual who hopes he will be respected with the decision he has made, now that he's real sexuality is out in the open.
"I was worried that [coming out] would be so sensationalized that it would overshadow what I was there to do, which was sing. I'm an entertainer, and who I am and what I do in my personal life is a separate thing. It shouldn't matter. Except it does. It's really confusing," Adam tells Rolling Stone. He was recently seen holding hands with a guy named Drake LaBry, which made netizens speculate that this person was his alleged boyfriend. "I'm trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader," added Adam. In addition to that, he has the support of Kara Dioguardi, one of the judges of the show, whom he shares a close friendship with, now that he has recorded with her. Things like this brings us back to the time, down in memory lane, when former idol Clay Aiken did the same thing years ago. In fact, when Adam was asked about it, he said, “Clay Aiken’s gay, and I’m gay, and we couldn’t be more different. The only thing that is the same about everyone in the gay community is that we’re gay. … Why can’t we talk about a human community?”
But when he was asked on what he thinks about his fellow contestant, American Idol Season 8 Winner, Kris Allen, he said, “They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight.” Nothing to fuss about the issue however, dor Adam values his friendship with Kris more than his gender preference, so to speak. Now that he is getting ready to release his own record, let's just hope everything goes well for him. He is talented, versatile. and he has the potential to make it big. With the ability to wow an audience with different and unique performances every single week way back his American Idol days, I hope he'll do just that in the coming days, and prove to everyone that he is truly more than what meets the public eye. More than a singer, a public figure, or a TV personality --- he's Adam Lambert. And needless to say, he's just keeping it real.

The Blogger
Not a lot of people know (or would even understand), but I am also a victim of drama obsession. I've been camping in dramalandia since I was 13 years old, and that's where you will most likely find me when I have nothing to do.
One of the symptoms of this disease is daydreaming about dramas everywhere whether you are at work, walking down the stairs, sleeping, even as you are walking...creepy isn't it? Hahaha!
I am also a big Asian music fan and I think Asian music rocks! I go back and forth from Cpop to Kpop and Jpop, so I may be different (and strange) compared to other people that you can find around. I am an elder sister , a dreamer , a believer , a gamer , wanderer , blogger , an optimist , an ultimate foodie and a, hands down, fangirl . I love reading books , writing , music , photography and traveling.
I am a nurse by profession who is also a copy editor and a freelance writer . I enjoy learning how to play musical instruments and learning various languages . I am crazy, loud, spontaneous, free-spirited and most of the time, a klutz.
Eren Asentista a.k.a. Eray, 23, female, from Dumaguete City, Philippines. My personality...it's complicated. :D Believe me, you wouldn't want to know who I am. Hahaha! XD
I am currently watching...
In the coming days, I plan to watch...
In Asian Entertainment, I fancy...
(This is still lacking, but this is more or less it. LOL! I will most likely be updating this in the future to accommodate my growing list of biases but check em out!)

The things that I want to do before I die are the following:
An Asian cruise.
Templestay in Korea.
An African safari adventure.
Backpacking to Europe.
Traveling through the European railways.
